Why does CSP not have a dark mode?

Dark mode for websites is known to reduce energy usage by up to 42% on mobile devices. The figure reduces when the device is not set to full brightness. However, there are very limited  energy savings when browsing a site in dark mode on a desktop computer.

The CSP platform, a collaborative web application, is primarily viewed on desktop. Adding dark mode will be considered if there is a change in desktop screen technology or an increased usage of CSP from mobile devices.
