More information on the terms you see throughout the platform.

Ad stack - how does a property compare to others. This is the relative percentile to other properties in this channel & country. Lower percentile, better ranking. Higher percentile, worse ranking.

Ad selection - emissions from servers and cloud computing; analytics; network traffic; storage; data providers; vendor overhead

  • The ad selection diagram is a visual representation of the supply chain for a given property. Primary nodes can be expanded by clicking on the + icon to show downstream sellers.
  • Hovering on a downstream partner will show the sellers’ node gCO₂e and that of all downstream resellers. Sellers that are in their own container do not participate in the unified auction. The combination of all the supply paths make-up the ad selection emissions for the property.

Carbon footprint (gCO₂PM) - the grams of carbon emissions per 1000 impressions, higher emissions = worse.

Change (%) - the delta from the previous month’s number. Scope3 will highlight numbers that changed greater than 5%.

Creative delivery - the emissions generated from the data transfer of the creative.

Comparative Ranking - how does a property compare to others. This is the relative percentile to other properties in this channel & country. Lower percentile, better ranking. Higher percentile, worse ranking.

Property - the media property, domain, app, or bundle ID.

Media distribution - emissions from CMS; CDNs and hosting services; consumer device emissions during consumption.

Organization - this is the company the property belongs to.

Supply Path - the supply path indicator shows the max number of hops through which a property is sold.

  • When not filtered to a specific seller, the bars show the maximum number of hops across all sellers.
  • When filtered to a specific seller, the color of the bars adjust to show the max number of hops for the specified seller.
  • The supply path filter allows for selecting direct only, indirect only, or both direct and indirect sellers.
