Technical vs Logical Depth

Logical Depth: This term describes the commercial relationships and supply chain connections between different entities.

Technical Depth: On the other hand, technical depth refers to the actual technical steps required to connect between different points in our network, as measured from an Ad Tech Platform (ATP) perspective.

For example, if we look at the ad selection chart below for a given property, we can see that Xandr has a logical depth of 2. This means that this property has a  relationship with Playground XYZ, who then in turn connects to Xandr. We can see that the technical depth is only 1, as whilst this property has a relationship with Playground XYZ, in reality from a technical perspective, the main relationship is actually with Xandr (who provides the technology, utilised by Playground XYZ).
