Overview

The guide below provides insight to the tasks critical for standard onboarding as a Publisher to Scope3. Please note, depending on integration requirements, this timeline may change and therefore should be used as an estimate only.

Launch Phase

In this phase, you'll meet your Scope3 team and establish your project plan.

  1. Kick-off call (~30min): Introduction to your dedicated Scope3 representatives composed of a Customer Success Manager (CSM) and a Solution Consultant (SC). The call will also be the opportunity to review the partnership plan together.
  2. Account setup and documentation: Scope3 will create your account on our Collaborative Sustainability Platform (CSP) and provide access to the relevant documentation. This includes two pre-recorded training sessions designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of our tools and methodologies (please note these videos might have been already shared during the pre-sales process) :
    1. Methodology training (~30min): This session covers Scope3’s framework and carbon emissions calculations.
    2. CSP demo (~30min): This session show you how to navigate and use our platform.
  3. Follow-up session (~30min): If needed, an additional meeting can be scheduled to address further questions.

Integration Phase

This phase focuses on connecting your ad delivery data to Scope3.

  1. Integration setup and demo: Your SC will guide you through the "Integrate" section of the CSP. This demonstration will cover:
1. Data sharing options (~15min): Choose your integration between manual file upload, Cloud bucket integration or Direct API integration. The set up time for this step will be integration dependent.
    2. Media reporting (~30min):  Your CS will demo how your data is processed and reported in the CSP.
  2. Schema mapping (~30min): To ensure fields from your reporting system aligns with corresponding Scope3 fields, you will be asked to set up a schema mapping.
  3. Data sharing test  (~ 30min):  Once the integration is configured and the schema is mapped, your SC will use a sample report to verify the integration and data accuracy.

Modeling, Verification & Assessment Phase

Following the initial kick-off sessions, we will conduct an assessment of your ad stack. This phase ensures that your inventory is accurately represented in our platform.

  1. Inventory analysis:
    1. You will complete a provided template with your inventory and delivery metrics.
    2. Your SC will review your inventory and provide you feedback on any missing properties or carbon reduction opportunities.
  2. Ad stack review :
    1. Ads.txt: Your CS will review your ads.txt and app-ads.txt files. We will ask for your cooperation in verifying these files and, making any necessary updates to include our model requirements.
    2. Supply graph (~4h): A review of your partners will be conducted to confirm the accuracy of the ad selection graph. Similar to the ads.txt step, your input will be needed to confirm our findings.
    3. Verification (~1h): Your CS will verify properties with updated ads.txt files and mark them as verified in the CSP, provided the ads.txt and supply graph steps have been completed.
    4. Inventory quality analysis (~2h): Your CSM and SC will evaluate your inventory for GMP and GMP+ qualification; including checks for MFA and supply directness.
  3. Corporate emissions : : If available, you will complete a provided sustainability template for accurate corporate emissions data.
  4. Optional - Ad format (~1h) : If applicable, Scope3 will guide you on how to model your proprietary custom ad formats within the CSP.
  5. Follow-up : Once we receive all necessary data and establish a baseline, our team will analyze reduction opportunities. This analysis will help us discuss optimization options and estimate potential emissions reductions.

This phase is about activating our products.
